HR Advisor (Nights) 

• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Nights)
• Location: Kent 
• Salary: Up to £45,000pa (depending on experience)
• Hours: 40 per week - flexible on hours and days 
• On site 

Reed HR have partnered with an amazing company who are seeking an HR Advisor to join the HR team, focusing on the night shift. This role is crucial in delivering effective HR support and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions during night hours. The successful candidate will provide essential HR advice and support across various areas of the business.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Provide guidance and support to managers on HR issues including employment law, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
• Create and manage accurate management reports, including KOIs and KPIs.
• Maintain employee data across our HRMIS.
• Conduct employee welfare activities, including return to work interviews.
• Assist in managing ER issues such as investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances, ensuring proper documentation.
• Support the HR Manager in maintaining comprehensive job descriptions for all positions.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement of the HR function.
• Deliver employee inductions and conduct pre-employment screening checks in compliance with Home Office guidelines.
• Manage attendance and family-friendly policies and procedures.
• Update and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with legislation.
• Lead and support various HR initiatives and maintain day-to-day employee relations.
• Ensure all leavers receive exit interviews and maintain relationships with labour providers and agency providers to manage performance and behavioural issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• CIPD qualification, preferably Level 5.
• Proven generalist HR experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience with HR systems such as CIPHR and MitreFinch is desirable.
