Electrical Shift Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a flagship commercial building in the heart of London Bridge. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems within a state-of-the-art environment.

The role operates on a continental shift pattern, covering both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Electrical fault finding
• Single and three-phase power systems
• Emergency lighting maintenance
• Fire alarm systems
• Building Management Systems (BMS)
• HVAC systems
• Air Handling Units (AHUs)
• Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
• Generators
• UPS systems
• VAV and VRF systems
• Pumps and motors
• Water treatment tasks, including tap testing, dosing, and cooling tower checks
• Cooling towers and associated plant equipment

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience in building services maintenance
• Apprentice-trained background desirable
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to develop and progress

Package

• £50,000 - £53,000 per annum
• Continental days and nights shift pattern
