We are recruiting Waking Night Support Workers to provide overnight support to a young person with SEND and additional needs.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the individual's safety, wellbeing and comfort throughout the night.
Responsibilities- Maintaining a safe overnight environment.
- Providing reassurance and emotional support.
- Monitoring wellbeing throughout the shift.
- Following care and support plans.
- Completing welfare checks as required.
- Recording observations and reports.
- Supporting routines and individual needs.
- Responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies.
- Previous care, support or childcare experience.
- Strong observation skills.
- Reliable and professional approach.
- Ability to work lone shifts where required.
- Strong safeguarding awareness.
- Residential childcare experience.
