Rate: Up to £15.49 per hour + 15% shift allowance
Job Type: Contract (6 months)
Hours: 36 hours per week | Weekly pay

We are currently recruiting for 2 experienced Industrial Paint Sprayers to join a busy engineering facility based in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong industrial painting experience to secure a long-term contract role with consistent hours and structured shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out surface preparation including masking and sanding
- Apply coatings using 2-pack spray paint systems (undercoats and topcoats)
- Ensure all coatings meet required quality and customer specifications
- Clean and maintain paint shop equipment (paint guns, air lines, paint pots, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with HSE standards
- Handle and dispose of materials and hazardous waste correctly
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and team activities
- Carry out general maintenance and housekeeping within the paint shop
Rotating shifts (Days & Lates - no night shifts):
- Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00 | Friday: 06:00 - 12:00
- Monday to Friday: 14:00 - 22:00 | Friday: 12:00 - 18:00
- Proven experience as an Industrial Paint Sprayer
- Experience using 2-pack spray painting systems
- Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of HSE and PPE requirements
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- NVQ Level 3 in Industrial Paint Occupations
- Experience operating overhead cranes
- 3-5 years' experience within an engineering environment
