Production Operative – Night Shift – Dukinfield (SK16) – £16.08 Per Hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Dukinfield (SK16).

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced industrial environment, offering excellent rates of pay, consistent hours and a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

£16.08 Per Hour | Monday to Thursday | Three-Day Weekend | Weekly Pay | Full Training | Temp to Perm

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Factory Operative, Manufacturing Operative, General Operative or Machine Operative.

Important: This is a physically demanding role involving regular lifting of up to 25kg and working in a warm industrial environment.

Shifts

• Monday to Thursday
• 18:30–06:30
• Twelve-hour night shifts
• Three-day weekend every week

• £16.08 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Production Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Loading raw materials into machines
• Removing finished products from production lines
• Carrying out regular manual handling and lifting of materials up to 25kg
• Trimming, inspecting and quality checking finished goods
• Bagging and milling products
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
• Following strict health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Production Operative, you will need:

• Ability to carry out regular manual handling of materials weighing up to 25kg, following safe handling procedures
• Comfortable working in a warm industrial environment
• Excellent reliability and punctuality
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work twelve-hour night shifts consistently
• Commitment to following health and safety procedures

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in production or manufacturing
• Experience within heavy industrial or factory-based environments
• Previous experience operating production machinery

Training Provided

• Full training provided
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
