Hours: Part-Time | 2 Saturday waking nights per month (7pm - 7am)

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our Community Care team in Manchester. This rewarding role involves providing specialist overnight care to a child receiving Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) within their own home.

The Role

As a Community Paediatric Nurse, you will provide safe and effective overnight care, ensuring the child's health, comfort and wellbeing throughout the shift. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering specialist nursing care to a child receiving TPN.
• Monitoring the child's condition and responding appropriately to any clinical needs.
• Administering TPN and medication as prescribed.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records.
• Working closely with the family to provide reassurance, support and effective communication.
• Promoting a safe and positive home care environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current NMC registration.
• At least 6 months' experience in paediatric nursing.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of paediatric care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.
• The ability to work independently and confidently during overnight shifts.
