WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE – IMMEDIATE START

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our client’s busy chilled storage facility based in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent pay rates, long-term ongoing work, and immediate starts with a well-established logistics business.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Picker Packer, Order Picker or Warehouse Assistant.

Shifts:

• Sunday to Friday, approximately 23:00 – 07:00
• Sundays off plus one other day off during the week

Rates of Pay:

• £13.86 - £15.75 per hour

Training & Induction:

• Candidates must be available to attend a paid induction and training session at 7:00am this week, either Wednesday or Thursday
• The induction will include a mandatory drug and alcohol test
• Candidates must successfully complete the induction and testing requirements before starting work

Day-to-Day Duties:

• Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently
• Working within a chilled warehouse environment
• Handling, checking, and recording goods accurately
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
• Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Committing to consistent night shifts

Essential Skills:

• Previous warehouse or manual handling experience
• Comfortable working in chilled conditions
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused

Desirable Experience:

• Experience working in cold storage or a similar warehouse environment

Training Provided:

• On-the-job training to build role knowledge
• Full health, safety, and compliance training provided
