HGV Class 2 Relief Driver | Sidcup

Pay: From £17.30 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday (No Weekends)

Standard Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 (Flexibility for occasional nights required / 18:00 to 03:00)

Contract: Temporary / Summer Cover

We are looking for a professional and adaptable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our relief pool in Sidcup. This role is perfect for a driver seeking high-paying, flexible work throughout the summer months to cover annual leave for a well-established local client.

While the majority of your shifts will be standard days, we are looking for someone with the flexibility to occasionally cover night requirements as needed.

The Role:

• Precision Driving: Managing multi-drop deliveries across the region.
• Efficient Loading: Most goods are palletised and loaded via FLT, though some physical handballing will be required to ensure successful delivery.
• Customer Facing: Acting as the face of the brand at every delivery point.

Requirements:

To meet our insurance and operational standards, you must have:

• Licence: Valid Category C (HGV 2) for a minimum of 1 year.
• Experience: At least 180 days of provable on-the-road driving experience.
• Compliance: A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Reliability: A professional "can-do" attitude and a clean driving record.
