About the Role:
We are recruiting dedicated, compassionate Support Workers to join the team at a residential care service based in Pitsea, Basildon. The service supports individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs to live fulfilling, independent lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with daily living tasks, personal care, and wellbeing.
- Supporting service users to engage in social activities, outings, and skill-building goals.
- Administering medication in line with care plans and compliance standards.
- Promoting independence, dignity, and active support for each individual.
- Maintaining clear, accurate care logs and shift handover records.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care, mental health, or learning disabilities (preferred, but transferable skills and a positive attitude are highly valued).
- Level 2/3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care (desirable).
- Excellent communication, patience, and empathetic nature.
- Right to Work in the UK.
