Night Concierge / Receptionist (Student Accommodation)

£14.80 per hour | Ongoing Temporary Position

We are currently recruiting for a Night Concierge / Receptionist to support a busy student accommodation site in the Bloomsbury (WC1A) area of Central London.

This is an ongoing temporary opportunity, ideal for candidates with previous concierge, reception, customer service, security or accommodation experience who are confident working independently during night shifts.

Shift Pattern

• Night shifts: 11:00pm - 7:00am
• 7 days per week cover required
• Rotating shifts available
• Ongoing temporary assignment
• From December until mid June

Key Responsibilities

• Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house presence
• Monitoring access to the building and checking visitors in and out
• Assisting residents with general queries and support requests
• Carrying out regular building checks and reporting any issues
• Handling telephone and email enquiries
• Maintaining accurate visitor and incident records
• Ensuring the safety and security of residents and the building during night hours
• Liaising with management and emergency services when required

Requirements

• Previous concierge, reception, front-of-house or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work alone and remain professional under pressure
• Good attention to detail and administrative skills
• Reliable, punctual and well-presented
• Comfortable working night shifts

Essential Compliance

• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service is required
• Right to work in the UK
