Customs Clerk - Night Shift - Freight Forwarding

I'm currently partnered with a leading global logistics provider who are looking to appoint 2 x Customs Specialists to join their growing customs operation.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced customs professional looking to join a large, established logistics business in a role offering a strong shift pattern, autonomy and long-term career development.

:

• Complete import, export and transit customs entries for a variety of UK and Ireland customers.
• Prepare and submit customs documentation to the relevant authorities.
• Monitor customs holds and proactively resolve issues with customs authorities.
• Ensure all customs activity is completed accurately and in line with customer requirements.
• Work to agreed SOPs, SLAs and KPIs.
• Complete effective handovers to the incoming shift.
• Work independently to manage workload and prioritise time-sensitive customs activity.
• Support continuous improvement across customs processes and systems.

' :

• Previous experience within customs, freight forwarding or international logistics.
• Strong understanding of UK import/export customs processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working independently within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in continuous improvement.
• Good ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.

• Salary of 35k - 42k.
• 4-on, 3-off night shift pattern. 19:30 - 06:00
