HGV Class 2 Driver – Ongoing Work – £18.06ph – Leyton (E10)

WPRG are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work with our client based in Leyton (E10).

This role involves multi-drop deliveries of baked goods to retailers and distribution points using a Class 2 vehicle.

Shift Pattern

• Weekend work required
• Weekly rota provided one week in advance
• Start times between 00:00 – 04:00
• Night / early morning starts
• Flexibility required within these hours

The Role

Your duties will include:

• Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles
• Multi-drop deliveries of baked goods
• Deliveries to retail locations and distribution points
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Ensuring deliveries arrive on time and in excellent condition
• Following driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations

Pay & Benefits

• £18.06 per hour – 7 days per week

Requirements

To apply for this role you must have:

• Minimum 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience
• Experience in Class 2 multi-drop deliveries
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Maximum 6 penalty points for minor offences only
• (No DD, DR, IN or CD codes)
• Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive
• Good communication and customer service skills

A driving assessment and theory test will be required as part of the pre-employment process.
