Waking Night Worker

Full Training Provided | Career Changers Welcome | Full Time & Part Time Available | 2 Week Rolling Rota Pattern

Hourly Rate: From £12.80 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Shift: 10.30pm – 8.30am (shift timings cannot change). 2 week rolling rota pattern for stability.

What you’ll do as a Waking Night Worker:

• Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing home environment

• Supervise and record movements and activities during the night

• Promote and safeguard the health and wellbeing of each child

• Work in line with risk assessments

• Recognise, respond to and accurately report/record any safeguarding concerns

A NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare is desirable – but if you don’t yet hold this qualification, we will fully fund and support you to achieve it

You’ll make a great Waking Night Worker if you are:

• Able to remain awake and alert throughout night shifts

• Compassionate, empathetic and reliable

• Resilient and reflective

• Experienced in residential childcare or looking to start a meaningful career supporting young people
