Forklift Truck Operator (Counterbalance) - Peterlee

The Role: Forklift Operator

Location: Peterlee (On-site)

Contract: 24 months fixed term assignment till Nov 2027

Working Hours: 36.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Excellent Pay Rates: (4% pay increase from 1st October)

• Day Shift: £14.71 - £16.97 per hour

• Afternoon Shift (20% premium): £17.65 - £20.36 per hour

• Night Shift (35% premium): £19.86 - £22.91 per hour

• Overtime 1.5 (Mon-Sat): £22.07- £25.46 per hour

• Overtime 2 (Sundays): £29.42 - £33.94 per hour

Shift Timings:

• Days: 08:00 - 16:00 (Mon-Thurs), 08:00 - 12:30 (Fri)

• Afternoons: 16:00 - 00:00 (Mon-Thurs), 12:30 - 17:00 (Fri)

• Nights: 00:00 - 08:00 (Mon-Thurs), 17:00 - 21:30 (Fri)

What You'll Need:

• At least 1 year of FLT/Forklift Truck operating experience.

• A Counterbalance licence (can be out of date)

Duties: (can vary depending on allocated area)

• Operating counterbalance

• Using other MHEs such as reach, flexi, pedstacker, bradshaw, linde, hilop and combi

• Manual handling

• Replenishing the lines, offloading wagons and picking parts from the warehouse
