Traffic Operator - Nights

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Night Traffic Operator has risen to join a growing and highly reputable Container Haulier on out outskirts of Ipswich. The company have grown steadily since their inception a few years ago and now looking for a proven Traffic Operator to manage their nigh shift operation.

Salary £40,000 - £45,000

Plus Car and Bonus

Monday - Friday

6pm – 4am

Duties Include

• Making changes to traffic sheets where appropriate
• Ensure fleet in running as profitably as possible.
• Reporting directly to Operations Manager
• Liaising with drivers and customers where appropriate
• Letting agency drivers into the yard,
• Making procedural changes where appropriate.
• Adhering to industry legislation (WTD etc.)

Skills Required

• Container haulage experience
• A proven track record in managing and improving a team of operators
• Good team player
• VBS and Tops experience.
• Excellent Management skills
• Effective communicator
