We are looking for Support Worker and Senior Support Workers our lovely new 3 Bed home supporting 8-18s with EBD.

Support Worker Salary

£14 per hour

Senior Support Worker salary

Senior Support Workers £15.50 per hour

Support Worker and Senior Shift patterns

1 week 3 on 4 off

2 week 4 on 3 off

Shifts are 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8aM

We want staff to do both day and night shifts but will speak to people who require either just days and just nights

Support Worker requirements

Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent

qualification is desirable; however training will be available.

Experience of supporting vulnerable young people within a residential care environment, or similar youth worker experience.

You will be compassionate, resilient, committed to being a positive role model and confident in managing challenging behaviours.

Flexible and able to work a residential care rota which includes evening, weekends and holiday periods

Have supported children with EBD and complex needs

Hold a valid UK driving licence.(preferred)

Senior Support Worker Requirements

Please note applicants MUST meet the following requirements;

Able to work Full time

A full UK driving license ( preferred )

Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)

An understanding that this role will require that you undertake Enhanced DBS checks

You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available.

Experience working and supporting 6-18 year old with EBD, challenging behaviour and complex care.

You will have some experience supporting children or young people with EBD.

Seniors MUST have NVQ level 3 Children Residential plus 2 years Support Work experience(Children's)
