HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

Location: Rugby, CV21
Job Type: Temporary - 2 weeks initially, with potential for ongoing work
Time: 06:00am start - 11 hours shift
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Pay: £175 per shift + £25 night-out allowance

The Role

This is a general haulage position involving a mixture of general haulage work and drop-and-swap deliveries.

The role is based on an average working day of approximately 11 hours, Monday to Friday.

• Start and finish in Rugby

• Monday to Friday working pattern

• Approximately 5 days / 4 nights out

• Monday start at 06:00

• General haulage and drop-and-swap work

• Average of around 11 hours per day

• Night-out allowance provided

Pay

• £175 per shift

• £25 night-out allowance

• 5-day week / 4 nights out

Duration

The initial assignment is for 2 weeks, starting next Monday.

While ongoing work cannot be guaranteed at this stage, there is a genuine opportunity for continued work for the right driver, subject to performance and the role being a good fit for both the driver and the company.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a reliable and professional driver who:

• Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Is comfortable with night-out work

• Has a good attitude and strong work ethic

• Is reliable, punctual, and professional

• Can work independently and manage deliveries responsibly

• Is available to start Monday at 06:00
