Role Overview

As an Assembly Operative, you will be a key player in our production process, ensuring that our products are assembled to the highest standards. This is a 24-month fixed-term contract running until November 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 36.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products following detailed work instructions.
• Operate air and battery-powered tools, including torque wrenches, to complete assembly tasks.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure all output meets company standards.
• Always maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Proactively report any defects or production issues to the line leader.
• Work collaboratively to ensure daily production targets are consistently achieved.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical work instructions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to remain focused and efficient in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Eagerness to learn new processes and strictly adhere to company safety procedures.

What We Offer

• Competitive Pay:
  • Day shift: £17.01 - £19.55 per hour
  • Afternoon shift: £20.41 - £23.46 per hour
  • Night shift: £22.96 - £26.39 per hour

Shift Patterns

• Day shift: Mon-Thu 08:00-16:00, Fri 08:00-12:30
• Back-shift: Mon-Thu 16:00-00:00, Fri 12:30-17:00
• Night shift: Mon-Thu 00:00-08:00, Fri 17:00-21:30
