Counterbalance & Reach Truck Driver (Nights)

Are you an experienced FLT Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with a successful and growing company? We are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance & Reach Truck Driver to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation based in the PE8 area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking stable night shift work with the potential to secure a permanent contract after a successful 12-week temporary period.

Candidates holding a Counterbalance licence only are also encouraged to apply.

The Role

Working as part of a fast-paced warehouse team, you will be responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading and storage of goods throughout the site. The role involves operating FLT equipment while supporting general warehouse operations to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently.

Key duties will include:

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach Trucks safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse
• Booking goods in and out
• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
• Carrying out stock checks and inventory duties
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting warehouse operations where required

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a valid Counterbalance Licence and Reach Truck Licence, or Counterbalance Licence only
• Have previous experience operating FLT equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Be comfortable working night shifts
• Have excellent awareness of health and safety procedures
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Have your own transport due to the location of the site
• Be available to start immediately
• Be able to attend an interview with the client
