Job Title: Factory Operative
Location: Dover (own transport is required)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £12.71 for day shifts, £14.62 for night shift

Overtime rates: £15.89 for day shifts, £17.54 for night shift
Working Hours: 4 on / 4 off, rotating between days and nights. Day shift is 5:45am-6:15pm. Night shift is 5:45pm-6:15pm.

Role Overview: I’m looking for hard working candidates who would like to work for a large manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working at the end of the production line, taking products of the conveyor belt and stacking onto pallets. Products can be 1.2-2m wide and 2.5-4m long and weight between 11kg-40kg.
• You will need to count the sheets stacked onto the pallets and conduct quality checks and log your findings onto the system.
• Progress and learn how to operate overhead cranes and counterbalance forklift to move pallets within the factory.
• Learn how to conduct thorough quality checks, machinery and handheld tools.

• Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle due to location.
