Night Shift Production Operative (HU2)

Location: HU2

Shifts: Sunday - Thursday (Night Shift)

• Option 1: 9:30pm - 4:30am
• Option 2: 10:10pm - 5:30am

Pay Rate:£16.90 per hour

Industry: Manufacturing / Production (no glass experience required)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Night Shift Production Operative to join a busy and well-established manufacturing site in the HU2 area. This is a hands-on labouring role combined with FLT Counterbalance operation, ideal for someone reliable, physically fit, and experienced working nights in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting night-shift production operations across the factory
• Manual labour duties including moving, handling, and stacking materials
• Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks to load, unload, and move stock
• Feeding production lines and removing finished goods
• Working safely to meet nightly production targets
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Following all site procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times

Essential Requirements (Must Have)

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in a labouring, production, or warehouse environment
• Ability to carry out physical work and manual handling
• Reliability and commitment to night shift work
• Strong awareness of health & safety

Desirable

• Previous manufacturing or factory experience
• Experience working nights
• Team-player attitude with flexibility to support different areas when required
