Location: Liverpool
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Hours: 18:00 – 06:00 (12-hour night shifts)

We are currently recruiting a Night Traffic Operator to join our operations team based in Liverpool. This is a Monday to Friday, nights-only role, offering consistency and a structured schedule.

The Role

As a Night Traffic Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of vehicles throughout the night operation. You will be responsible for coordinating drivers, managing workloads, and handling any issues that arise to ensure service levels are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and managing vehicle movements during the night shift
• Communicating with drivers and customers to ensure timely deliveries
• Monitoring live operations and resolving issues as they arise
• Managing compliance with drivers’ hours and transport legislation
• Accurately updating transport systems and operational records
• Handover of operational information to the day team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a traffic, transport, or logistics role
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently during night operations
• Competent IT skills and experience using planning systems
• Calm and professional approach in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working night shift
