Locations: Penrith, Carlisle, Wigton, Kendal, & Workington (Cumbria)

Pay Rates:

• Days: £15.35 / hour

• Waking Nights: £16.88 / hour

• Sleep-ins: £63.04 flat rate

We are seeking dedicated Residential Children's Support Workers to join our team across Cumbria, supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioral, and trauma-related needs.

In this role, you will provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment, helping young people navigate their challenges and build a brighter future.

Flexible Shifts to Match Your Lifestyle

We offer varied shift patterns to ensure around-the-clock care for our young people:

• Day Shifts: 08:00 - 20:00

• Waking Nights: 20:00 - 08:00

• Days with Sleep-ins: 10:00 - 23:00 (followed by a sleep-in, finishing 08:00 - 10:00 the next morning)

What We Are Looking For (Essential Criteria):

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Proven Experience: Direct, demonstrable experience working within Residential Children's Homes, specifically supporting children who have experienced trauma and exhibit challenging behaviors.

• Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel up to 1 hour to various homes across the Cumbria locality.

• Availability: Open to working a mix of both day and night shifts.

• Right to Work: Full, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK (we cannot accept applicants with 20-hour student visa restrictions).

• Transport: A car driver is highly preferred due to the rural locations of some homes, though not strictly essential.
