Duties of the HGV Technician:

• Conduct diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on HGV vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles
• Occasionally work on light commercial vehicles (vans)
• Maintain high standards of workshop efficiency and quality workmanship
• Complete necessary documentation and reports related to vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Support team colleagues with technical expertise and knowledge sharing as required

Requirements of the HGV Technician:

• Level 3 qualification in HGV Repair & Maintenance or equivalent
• Proven experience working on HGV vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Own set of tools suitable for heavy vehicle maintenance
• Class 1 licence desirable, with training available if needed
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
