Support Worker - Kinross

Are you a compassionate, dedicated individual looking to make a meaningful difference in people's lives? We are expanding our team at a supported living service in Kinross and looking for reliable Support Staff to join us.

Role Overview

• Position: Support Worker (Female)*

• Vacancies: 2 x Full-Time Positions (30 hours/week)

• Location: Kinross

• Service Context: Supporting 4 adults (2 male, 2 female) living within a 24-hour supported living environment.

*Occupational Requirement: Due to the personal care requirements of the individuals supported within this service, this role is open to female applicants only.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, high-quality support with all aspects of personal care.

• Safe administration of medication.

• Assisting service users with nutritional support and feeding.

• Promoting independence, dignity, and active involvement in daily life.

What We Are Looking For

We are ideally looking for candidates with previous care experience who bring:

• Proven experience in moving and handling.

• Confidence in medication management.

• Awareness of Dysphagia and managing safe eating/choking risks (highly desirable).

• A supportive, empathetic, and team-oriented mindset.

Shift Patterns & Work Environment

This is a 24-hour continuous care service.

• Shifts include sleepover duties (with 2 sleepovers scheduled per night).

• Candidates must be comfortable working as part of a 2:1 support team for complex personal care routines.
