Facilities Service Operator

Train Cleaner

Pay: £13.48 per hour + 150% overtime
Hours: 20:00 - 04:00
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (including weekends)

The Role

We are currently recruiting Train Cleaners to join a growing team working in a rail depot environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for keeping trains clean, safe, and ready for service.

No previous experience is required - full training is provided!

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning the interior and exterior of trains to a high standard
• Carrying out general cleaning and facilities duties
• Working as part of a team (usually groups of 3-4)
• Using cleaning equipment and materials safely
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Ensuring work is completed efficiently within set timeframes

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to work on your feet for most of the shift (breaks provided)
• Basic English communication skills (spoken and understood)
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Willingness to work night shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotation

Training & Onboarding

• Full site induction on your first shift
• Health & Safety training and role expectations covered
• Ongoing support from supervisors
