Hours: Full-Time
Shift:Night Shift - 10:00pm to 6:00am
Pay:£14.00 - £14.50 per hour DOE

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Paint Polisher to join a fast-paced automotive and plastics manufacturing environment in Birmingham. This role focuses on preparing and finishing painted components to the highest standard, ensuring all products meet strict quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Polishing painted automotive or plastic components to a high-quality finish.
• Performing de-nibbing, sanding, flatting, buffing, and machine polishing.
• Inspecting surfaces for paint defects, imperfections, or contamination and correcting them.
• Collaborating with the Paint Technicians to maintain consistent finishing standards.
• Achieving production targets while ensuring excellent attention to detail.
• Maintaining tools, polishing equipment, and a clean working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Paint Polisher is essential.
• Background in automotive, manufacturing, or plastic injection moulding environments is highly desirable.
• Strong eye for detail with a passion for delivering high-quality surface finishes.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts in a busy production setting.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and used to working to deadlines.
